King Estate Signature Pinot Noir 2009

Your editor says this wine is one of the finest Pinot Noirs he has had.
The winemaker says this wine is a deep garnet with a bright ruby tint. On the nose; aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, cranberry, blueberry, rose petals, vanilla, oak spice, cedar and a hint of truffle, while the palate expresses blackberry, cherry, cocoa, toasted marshmallow, raspberry, orange zest, baking spices, and a hint of menthol. The mouthfeel is silky soft on entry with balanced nice acidity and firm tannins, with a long lingering finish.
